Archery

Exeter Sportsman’s Club offers its members an 80-yard archery range. The club provides a variety of
targets including several regulation tournament size (122cm round) targets, compound speed bag as
well as 3D targets. Targets are on wheels and can be moved to your desired distance. The range is
marked every 10 yards and a net backstop is set up to catch any overshot arrows. A covered shooting
line helps to protect archers from the sun and weather. Shooting is permitted from sunrise to sunset 7
days a week. The range may be closed during scheduled classes, maintenance, or for club events.

We ask that all members and guests abide by the range rules and regulations set by the club. These can
be found in the documents section of this web site. No broadheads are allowed on ESC targets due to
the destruction inflicted on the targets.

Classes

Exeter Sportsman’s Club offers introduction to archery classes for beginners. We plan to expand our
class offerings, guest speakers and seminars as our program grows.

Intro to Archery

The introduction to archery class runs for 4 weeks with a cost of $100 per student. This class is for
adults, and children 8 years and older. All equipment is provided by the club. During the 4 weeks
students will learn archery range rules, the parts of the bow, and the 11 steps of shooting. Classes are
taught by USA Archery certified instructors. If you have any questions about our classes or would like to
be put on our email list for future classes, please contact the club at contact@exetersc.com

Archery Flights

Archery Flights are an opportunity for club members to get together and share in the joy of archery.
Come and shoot with your peers, share your knowledge of archery, ask questions, and meet new
people. Don’t shoot archery but would like to learn about it? This is a great chance to talk to archers
about how they started, and why they love the sport. Check the club calendar for dates and times. This
is an informal get-together and no sign up is needed.
