We hold a wide variety of events at the club throughout the year, not just for our membership, but also for local youth and the general public. Below is a list of our regularly scheduled events that occur each year. We also conduct a number of other events, educational, and youth programs based on demand and volunteer availability. ESC Annual Meeting (April)
The Annual Membership Meeting for the year in review, election of officers, dinner, drinks, raffles, and a good time all around.
Youth Fishing Derby (May)
Our largest youth event of the year, upwards of 200 kids aged 15 and under descend on the club grounds to fish a freshly stocked pond and eat pancakes!
Small Bore League (Summer)
The league, which is open to the public, meets on Tuesday evenings 5-7:30PM during the 10 week scheduled season, alternating rifle and pistol each week.
Doc Wharton Rendezvous (Fall)
Our newest event for members and their guests of all ages, in honor of the late Dr. Tom Wharton, provides free black powder shoot, air rifles, axe throwing, archery, horseshoes, BBQ lunch, and local vendors.
Flag Retirement Ceremony (Flag Day, June)
In conjunction with local Boy Scout troops, we collect old American flags from the local area throughout the year, then teach and help perform the proper ceremonial flag retirement.
